At an early age, I discovered a passion for art and someday dreamed of creating my own cartoon. But along the way I lost that passion chasing other dreams unrelated to art. I partnered with long time friends to form the first boys AAU basketball program in Middletown, CT, now known as the
Connecticut Basketball Club. While coaching, I decided to start designing flyers and also created a website for the basketball program.
As I prepared to graduate from college the passion was rekindled and has been with me since. I began chasing my dreams, working on a Christmas animation special with Young Studios (formally known as Dr. Joe Enterprise) training under the lead animator for the special. Eager to learn, I began purchasing material and studying everything from animation to software to further my knowledge in the trade. In 2006, at
Young Studios, I was promoted to the position of lead producer/animator for two financial literacy animation shorts for Bank of America.
Meanwhile, I will continue in honing my skills as I prepare to launch my own animation production studio, in 2009.
